Lydia Little was the all-important heir to a well know big-city family. She was about to inherit the entire estate, ownership rights to the fashion line her mother created and the film industry her father had made famous.

Her mother and father were still alive, but now that she was a young adult, her time to step up to the responsibilities of being heir was now hers to make.

Sitting down with the family lawyer, her parents also being present. She was given a 'symbolic' choice. Drinking the glass of water they offered signified that she desired a simple life, one of her own making. Partaking of the glass of nectar would show that she accepted all that being an heir would mean.

Lydia Little knew, even from a very tender age, which one she would choose.

Taking the glass of nectar, she smiled thankfully to her proud parents and then drank the cup fully, carefully and with dignity. A few minutes later, she felt very odd. It wasn't long before she blacked out...

When she awoke she was someplace she had never seen before. It looked like a wild west scene from her father's lot, except for one thing. This wasn't on a movie lot. Where was she? What happened?! Where was the big city? Trying not to panic, she hurries off to the nearest hill she can find in her high-healed stilettos, she climbs it, nearly killing herself, and looks down upon... her new home?
